Now that's a rare beast. I'd heard they existed & seen a photo in a catalogue, but that's the first I think I've ever seen 'for real'.

How good are you at explaining to you bank manager how wonderful an investment this would be :?: ;)

Re:

There was one popped up on eBay several years ago, I recall as an auction, 2014. It was swiftly taken down either as someone made a quick offer or the seller realised what they'd got.
I've got some photos somewhere.

Is it desirable enough to make the two grand mark?

Maybe to a collector of British nostalgia but its no Fat or Klein....

Re:

Unfortunately it's the 1989 Limited Edition frame with some gold bits from Hatfield Cycles which has been up on ebay a few times before, and not the legendary Prestige model as pictured in MatBH5's post. There's also a rather unfortunate dent in the top tube if you look at the linked flickr album and some cables which are pretty frayed for a bike which has never been ridden.

I would rather like an 89 Limited Edition but not with all that gold cack on it.

Re:

That other one from 2014 with the photos in front of a shed - I actually won it, pressed buy it now at something like £25 paid and made contact to arrange collection. Shortly after got an email to say it was no longer available, I offered quite a bit more in the end and still couldn’t get it! You win some you lose some!
