that is nuts. where do these bits go?? On someones shelf for another 10 years? No way you would use it. would make a very expensive bit of wall art only, which I guess if you have the cash is fine really.
 
i am looking for a red one but this does not sound promising; i think i need to sell my kidney's first,..

i'm looking for gold, black or rasta , like this one, but 500$ is stupidly expensive , selling one of them kase 1983?

I sold that very same derailleur to the current seller 3 months ago for $425. After the paypal and ebay fees he will probably only make a little bit of money off of the sale. But yeah...the prices are getting ridiculous. Even for new XTR and SRAM top end products as well.
