Early Gary Fisher Procaliber?

Re:

Had the pleasure of supplying the NOS chainset for this NOS 28yr old one  Absolutely stunning bike with perfect geometry. Remember riding all the way down to Evans in south London just to drool over one in the window back in 89.

Been a while, deleted his pm now  but the owner was an ex Fisher sponsored racer iirc and had been given the NOS frame. I saw one in good used condition offered for $15500 on ebay a few years ago  . As Anstark said, one of the true greats ( before GF sold out) and a very rare beast. Never ridden one but i dont doubt it rides amazing and probably similar to my 89 FAT with very similar specs.

Re:

Thanks M-Power.

That's the nicest example I have seen. I'm partial to Fishers and am about to build the same 89 Procaliber. I'm picking up my frame next week. Initially I got a very well loved / worn out frameset with an ovalised headtube so the build never went ahead. Then I found this beast which I love riding but is close to worn out. So I will build a better version soon utilising my 3rd frame and hoping I can build two (subject to fork fitting) with the trashed frame becoming wall art...

I had one in 89 i think, with prestige tubing. The top tube cracked, they couldn't get me new frame, so ended up with a CR7.

I was part of the UK Fisher race team for a bit, be good to catch up with some of the guys one day.
