Great if we can "see" the spec, but as we can't it'd be great to know more of the details. Driveside picture would help a load.
Where did it come from as a new machine in 2000?

You hit the nail on the head! I am tortured at the thought of these going and kind of hope they don't sell so I have an 'excuse' to keep them.

More pics will go on tomorrow as work permits. I've added a sneak preview of the driveside as req.

The RC250 was sourced via Frameworks in Ipswich. They no longer exist. It has the trials forks with wavey hope C2s

The RC500 came from cycle surgery if I remember correctly, in London
