Its because its anadised, comes out alot darker apparently.

Was in the colour tank to long,or had to many microns put on the frame in the anodising process prior to the colour dip

Bargain me thinks, the Manitou Ones are easily serviced and if it has the pukka disc mount dropouts they're worth a few bob too
