Looks A lot better than they normally do

In what way?

Dont forget 'Mountain' bikes really didnt exist in the UK or anywhere else for that matter outside Califonia. That Tom Ritchey/ Repack fat tyred thing lazered into our brains clouds over what existed in reality in 1981 which would have been a few Breezers and the clunkers before that.

The Clelands were designed and built for the UK claggy mud, not some breezy dry downhill in Marin County.

Traditional Californian inspired 'mountain bikes' banjoed by UK clay and mud

Look at the differences in the geometry and clearances, its deisign is wholly UK without influence of much else

So lets be clear, its an English Cycles Metro Trekker.

Its not a Cleland, ok its made by a guy who built a few of the Clelands but it isnt one of those.
