Add overseas shipping, customs fees + VAT on top of that and you'll be looking almost $3k Cannondale...
This was for sale before with the same price. Unsurprisingly it didn't sell.

I don't think the price is too outrageous.
The cooks and graftons are now making close to half the asking on their own. Not really the sellers fault most of the members on here live overseas in import-Tax-hungry nations.

Mine cost me 400 USD on ebay 7 years ago (300 euros at that time) with all parts : Cook, Mavic, grafton... If I add shipping cost to France, some cleaning and evolution, I was around 800.
I agree with the price if you have to buy parts alone, but not in a whole bike
