It seems that buyers just do not value hand made steel frames the way they should, I have both benefitted and lost because of this, it's a shame, but it is just the way the market it.

It largely depends on the brand, model, line, and builder (of frame)

Rare and interesting (and good) doesnt always equate to valuable. Scarcity can only drive prices when demand outstrips supply.

... and demand needs a cache ... a catalyzing phenomenon or mystique of some sort, but it still depends on brand, line, model, and builder ...
