Mate had a virtually NOS one of those a few years back. Actually rode like a Marin from memory.

Sounds about right, IIRC they were produced in the same Taiwan factories as Fisher (and therefore possibly Marin as well) so the geometry and tubing should be pretty much the same spec. They also use an Evolution headset from memory...?

Sadly the brand name will always be a sticking point - I agree that it may be a one way trip to splitsville :(

Shame if it got parted out, given its 'survivor' status; however.. does the seatclamp QR hold the stays together? That's a lot of stresses for one little cam..
