Claimed to be a 1998 but I don't know the serial number codes so I'm not 100% sure. Either way it's my size and it's on an open auction. My prediction is around the £450 mark

B means pre 98 pkus the routing and lack of a cable stop indicate pre 97. I'm sure the experts will confirm the year.

A 1998 model would have stops for three cables on the top tube (rear brake plus both mechs).

This one has the shorter seat tube extension above the top tube junction. So 1995-96 -ish?
Maybe a 1995, as it doesn't seem to have a rear brake cable stop on the top tube (instead, using a [missing] "dog collar" on the seat tube).

It has threaded bosses (mudguard mounts?) on the seatstay and chainstay bridges, which I haven't seen before.

Has bottom bracket shell been chamfered?
