It is a very nice one indeed, before they went elevated chain stay and curved seat tube. Very small too.
It is funny how we now want retro bikes to have rigid forks, when BITD everybody wanted suspension and threw away all those "horrible" rigid forks :!: :!:
For 1990 I agree that it would be most appropriate with rigid, but I am sure it got changed for all the right reasons :idea:

Seems crack free but quite heavy unsurprisingly.
Manitou's seized of course.
Nice XT kit on it (thumbies/chainset/mechs/cantis) pedals are Tioga Sure Foots though and wheels are Saracen Wolber ones oddly enough on DX hubs.
Turbo saddle goosed, can't see what the brake levers were.
Made an offer but got to wait and see, he's mulling it over. Not too fussed either way, would have just shredded the XT

I've been searching for one of these for sooo long but it's collection only, bah! Probably best as I have two unbuilt projects on the go! Plus replacement downtube decals would be tricky to locate; Gil has a version of them but more 91-onwards. Will be a great project for someone though.
