Wasn't it the 14.5" frames that had the U-Brake on the underside of the seatstays? My 1992 16" had it on the normal way...

Yeah pretty obvious this guys measuring center to top. Some early production 93 model year 16" frames had the u-brake under the seat stays until Shimano finally delivered their small size cantilevers and then they went back up top in later production.
