The one with the tuning fork seat stays and Kalloy bars is a Ribble R4, it's Aluminium, poss 7005.
The other one maybe an R8 as I believe they were made using Reynolds 853.
If the steel frame is Reynolds as stated by the seller then I think it must be an R8, which is indeed 853, although they were advertised as being red. It actually looks more like Tange frame being so skinny, but maybe they chose the skinniest 853 tubes for light weight. The R8 was the same price as the R2 (Tange Ultimate Superlight), around £350, and the R4 (d-b 7005) was about half that.
The R8 would be around the time they stopped selling mtb frames and parts, late 97, while the R4 would be a year or so earlier.
