I know things are worth whatever somebody will pay for them but is this really worth £16.5k?

Good point and one that other sellers achieve, but this guy is so far off the map the it does not happen, in a completed items search of bbcbikes the only bikes he has sold are in the $200 to $300 range. So yes maybe this is just a way to generate traffic to his ebay store.
