Looks bigger than a 17.5" to me. Price seems OK for condition, and there is a Best Offer option. Remember this bike cost over 500 pounds in 1991 - that's equivalent to almost 850 quid in 2013.

lets see what the market says....

lovely bikes both of them, but £285 is a lot of dough for a mass produced old bike.

by way of comparison, a nice xt trekker sold on ebay today for £36,and there's a 89 richtey for sale on here for £250.

a 1991 GT Avalance in Daktari white passed by ebay unsold @ £130 opening bid a few weeks ago

so £285 is a bit of an ask, but good luck to the seller, seems like an enthusiast so fair play
