Muddy Fox Courier Prestige

Not prestige, not 1990, It's just a regular courier from '89 with a possible repaint. You can see the Tange MTB tubing sticker in the pictures.

It's a funny one this. Seems original finish but looks 88-89
Also has a rear ubrake!
Weird?
Like the look , so what is it? Another odd euro model?
It's rare whatever it is. (Or I could be way off)

Its FAR from a regular Courier and certainly not a repaint. (well not by an owner anyway... ;) )
 
Lugged frame, no wishbone, must be '88 or earlier.....

The U-brake is really bugging me though!

Look again, Hyperglide, SLR, etc wasnt avaliable.

(well at least untill the very end of 88 for the 89 model year).

I assumed the exage stuff wasn't original?

It is. ....and tbh, thats a small part of what makes this bike a little special... :cool:
