I'd have thought it would be a significant percentage of the value of the bike!

You should be looking at around £20 couriered for the complete bike....Parcel2go are good...

it can be erratic, but postage can make all the difference but for the outlay and boxing or wrapping it you could double what if may get otherwise (this goes for non bike stuff too!) the other half has snaffled some right bargains because of a lack of postage.
