Looks like a early 85 Saracen..... same bike as the Conquest and in my size,
why dose this always happen when I have no spare cash :roll: (walks away to empty piggy bank)

Ps anyone want to by a spare kidney

But I've spent most of my life squeezing onto frames that look great - but don't quite fit! :D :D

Won't be bidding here... gonna go for that steel Condor draped in Mavic gear on eBay! 8)





PS Probably don't fit on that either! :lol:

I picked up the bike from Peterborough last night. It's in fantastic condition. I was planning on respraying it to black with red Saracen decals, but the paintwork is in such good condition. I wish I liked red...dilemma!

I just need to find out if it's Reynolds 501 or 531, it seems to be identical to my 531 Conquest frames and differs slightly to my Saracen 501 frames, but I'll check the early Saracen spec sheets to find out.

Respray to black with red decals or keep original?
