...and 'no damage'? What about the dent on the underside of the downtube?

Speak of the devil:

bbcbikes has had this one listed continuously for over a year.

Seller must be a real optimist, although he did drop the price by $1 about 6 months ago.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/muddyfox-bike-/290685818007?pt=UK_Bikes_GL&hash=item43ae399497#ht_500wt_1202

This low end Muddy Fox has been on for at least 3 months, was at a £50 start and they have reduced it to a £48 start for the last couple of auctions. BSO spec so won't get any bids until it gets to a £5 start price. At the rate of reduction that should be sometime in 2015.

Probably. Having looked at their previous listings, about 50% of them seem to sell to be fair, though mainly the road stuff, so maybe that's more realistically priced.

They did sell a Sugino/White Industries crank for £80 + postage though!

If they ever have to liquidate their stock and list it all as auctions I'll be bidding on this:

Seen this on eBay for quite a few months.....not sure it counts as I'm sure there are people who want it, just not at that price.....

The guy has some other spectacularly overpriced stuff up, I saw these several months ago, not surprisingly they still haven't sold

Think about £45 is the going rate for these.

It's a perfect example. Something plenty of people would want, but no-one is likely to pay that price for.

It's the same seller I mentioned in my post, who also has this:

For a mere $1200.

Not only has this bike been listed over and over again, but the starting price is gradually creeping up, despite receiving no bids:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/19-Mountain-B ... 231c414487

Hmm, well if no-one bid at £65/£75/£85/£95 maybe I can tempt them with a starting bid of £100.
