Zaskar frame?

doesn't look right to me, on first impressions. its been re stickered, at the least. ask the seller for model year and serial numbers if you can..
 
Definitely not a Zaskar, although it's stickered up and painted to resemble one of the 1997 black powder-coated ones.
Top tube sticker is in the wrong place too though.

However that's all academic, as the curved end cap points to one of the lower end 7005 models like the Avalanche, Tempest, Backwoods etc.

Way overpriced as well.

Looking at his other items (some expensive stuff).

He's either bought it thinking its a Zaskar and is splitting for a profit
or he's bought a Badkwoods etc for £200 and is hoping to sell for £500.
 
Defo not Zaskar, look at any Zaskar around the headset there is a fillet welded in, this doesn't seem to have this
 
I've been in contact with him and directed him to this thread. He wasn't aware it wasnt a Zaskar - he bought it from a bike shop that told him it was one.
I suppose if he cares enough he'll pull the ad or modify it. We will see.
