they wouldnt make anything like that much in europe ;)

the klein/ kalloy post is a classic comparable example. both items are pretty stock, nothing special (unlike an arctos titanium stem for example), but make high value purely down to rarity alone.

And it was the type of item that we were asked all the time to remove and replace with a Syncros for 'trickness'. There must be hundreds of Klein seatposts sitting in shop spares bins - if only they knew....
