Has anyone else ever had such irrepairable differences in the relationship with their bike that they've been forced to sell it?

I've broken them, upgraded them, lost them, but never had a falling out with one :?:

He is a bike geek that finally got to date a girl.
He built up this amazing bike to impress and lure her into his world of BIKE BLING.

She saw this and ran like hell.
