"RE-ADVERTISED DO TO TOO MANY WATCHERS NO BIDDERS,PLEASE DO NOT WATCH THIS AUCTION IF YOU DO NOT INTEND TO BID"

Poor chap must have assumed that "watchers" always bid on items. Lol. This was the previous auction with a £299 starting price:

Errrm... it doesn't! It just raises his blood pressure. Apparently, if you send him a box of Ramipril he'll let you watch ;)

I guessed that, thats like a cycle shop closing the doors and only letting people enter if they are intending to buy something,

plus watchers usually tend to mean someone will bid and now he has lost all those potential bidders,

Good analogy. And I think you're right. Watchers can easily become bidders... particularly at the end of an auction if the price is right - I seem to do this quite a lot!

i saw it before, and didnt watch it....now its on my watch list, and following on from my lovely council tax bill that arrived this morning i have absolutly no intention of bidding.... does that make me a bad person?
