Actually the dropouts look appropriate to me for a pre '96 Hot. And judging from the decals I'd guess it's a '95.

But maybe it's not... :?

Yeah but you have Ritchey drop outs on yours... Those drop outs look like standard ones (a la basic model Kona)

As pictured in the 95 catalogue the Hot does have mud guard mounts on the drop outs. A quick search for photos of the pre 96 Hots also shows they have the mounts so I'd say it is genuine.

The flutted downtube is probably a more reliable measure for an earlier Hot too. In some cases drop outs have varied in low volume production runs as the builders may have used what was available rather than desired.

That's my $0.02 ;)
