This bike caught my eye as it was the first 'real' MTB I ever rode. My friend who I lived with for a little while in '92-'93 in Chicago owned a bike shop, and sold Boulders. There as a Defiant (same colour but an aluminium frame) with Mag 20s and full LX.

A neighbour had a gold Defiant with Manitou forks with the original Boulder canti-lever bakes. Loved the ride so much I bought a black Intrepid (4130) with full XC-Pro and Marzocchi XC 400s.
