This bike obviously has a lot of sentimental value to the seller. I can tell by the way it was treated - like a discarded garden tool left outside in the rain and snow, to rot and rust. Ashamed to park it by the front door to show it off to the world, he probably left it by the back door so he could use it to scrape the muck off of his shoes before going inside.

I wouldn't treat a discarded garden tool the way he treated this bike. If there were such a thing as Bicycle Protective Services, they would have taken this bike away from him and had him legally declared to be an unfit bicycle owner, never to own a bike again. It's too bad the stockade is no longer legal...
