I've heard of Square Taper cranks before, but Hexagonal taper?! :shock:

Not seen that before. Somewhere out there is the equally odd looking bottom bracket for it I guess...

That is a Dan/Ed crank-set from the mid 90's. Mombat used to have a couple of those for sale (unfortunately without the matching BB which makes them kind of pointless).
Btw. the Tune Fastfoot Sixpack crank also had a hexagonal BB spindle (but those came a little bit later).

It’s Dan/Ed, yes.

One of the sets from Mombat had the bb as well - I have this set right here (waiting for shipping to it’s new owner).

Very cool and different!
