For sale is my old Specialized Rockhopper aluminium frame from 2005. I bought this new as a complete bike - have used it as a general purpose MTB and for some commuting. Frame is showing some marks but is in structurally good shape. No major wipe outs, crazy air, riding in the sea.... :-D
Can be run with V brakes or discs. Designed to run around an 80 - 100mm travel fork (it had some 80mm Manitou forks on it originally but due to my lack of attention these seized beyond economical repair....).
Key dimensions as follows:
Seat tube = 19" CTT (I'm just over 6 foot, normally ride a 19" MTB and it fitted me perfectly)
Top Tube = 22"
Effective Top Tube = 22.5"
Head Tube = 120mm (Frame is for 1 1/8 standard headset)
Rear Stays OLN = 135mm (for stand QR)
For 26" wheels....
Included in the sale is the seat clamp, seat post and also original handlebars.
