Hi, interested in the front mech, looking at the pic what tube size would it be without the shim? Also you said it can be set for top pull just want to check that is the case as that's what I need.

Not sure how to remove the shim to be honest, I am afraid it will break if I try to force it. The "shims" add 2mm to the diameter, each being 1mm thick.

Definitely good for top and bottom pull, you can check out the Shimano pdf for this mech on line which shows top and bottom cable pull.

Ok thanks for the response not come across the shims before (been away from the scene for some years) I need 34.9 so no good anyway.
