This is my wife's old Ellsworth. It was their jump frame but builds into a nice hardcore XC bike. My wife used it a lot at the trail centres in North Wales before buying a full susser a few months ago. For reference she is 5'5" and it was a comfortable XC ride for 30km or so. It of course also makes a very nice jump bike.

No scrapes or dents, but a few small scratches and some cable/tyre rub. The frame is anodised rather than painted. It has sliding drop outs so could be run single speed if you like ruining a perfectly good bike...

The seat tube is 10.5" c-c and 13" c-t, the top tube actual is 21.5" c-c, bottom bracket is BSA threaded with ISCG mount. The head tube is 1 1/8" and comes with good condition Hope headset. The seat tube diameter is 27.2mm and a Hope QR clamp is included.

Looking for £130 posted for the frame. SOLD

The fork is in very good condition, 105mm travel with straight 1 1/8" steerer. £90 posted.

OR £200 for the frame and fork.

Any questions, just ask.

Thanks

Rich

Hey mate I would be interested in the spooky frame, what are you after for it? And do you have any more pictures?
Thanks
Aaron

Re:

Hi Aaron
Great. I'm out this morning, but can take some more pics later.

I bought this frame from Wight Mountain, UK Spooky importers when Mickey was in charge.

Size as follows:

36cm or 14 1/4" seat tube c-t, 30.9 diameter

56.5cm or 22" actual top tube

44mm head tube

73mm bsa bb

135mm qr drop out

26" wheel frame with room for 2.5" tyre. I think it would take a 27.5" wheel with a 2" tyre but i haven't got one to hand to try.

Usefully also has a bottle cage boss.

Mickey had frames made by Sapa and by Frank the Welder. Not 100% sure, but comparing this frame to others that i know Frank made for Spooky at this time i am pretty confident it is a Frank the Welder frame. There is a patch of black surface filler on the chainstay, originating from when it was manufactured. Frame is solid as a rock.

It'll take a 150mm fork. It's longer and the head angle is much slacker than the original bandwagon (i also have one of those). It's an absolute rocket when thrown down hill.

I was after £375 posted in UK mainland for the bare frame, but feel free to make me an offer. I have a Hope headset to fit it and brand x 30.9mm 150mm dropper post if you're interested in them.

Thanks

Rich
