Shand Stoater 56cm

Unfortunately, due to being diagnosed with an arthritic hip and a recurrence of past cycling injuries, I am having to regretfully sell my bikes


Complete Shand Stoater for sale (purchased 2015). Standard geo, Large size (details here https://www.shandcycles.com/bikes/stoater/). It's the previous version so it's fillet-brazed Reynolds 853 steel. Beautifully finished, paint job still in great condition. Has rack mounts.
Includes:
Chris King BB and headset
Thompson stem, Randonneur bars
All brake and gear inners and outers just replaced.
Shand steel with rack mounts
Wheels - handmade CX by Wheelsmith in Scotland - has clearance for 35mm, probably more , currently fitted with new Schwalbe Kojak slick tyres and Portland Design mudguards
TRP Spyre brakes, new brake pads just fitted
Ultegra chainset and cassette
105 10spd levers and derailleurs

Cheers, it's sort of ok.

I wish I could have ridden off into the sunset, but I have done a lot of different types of cycling and enjoyed it all.

Cycle speedway, time trailling ( well enjoyed might be stretching it...), road racing, track, commuting, audax,, mountain biking.

Just wish I had done a bit more relaxed touring and travelling the world, but I have enjoyed it all.
