I have access to a laser cutter at a fablab and have been using this to engrave some headset caps.
Caps are currently 1, 2 or 3 offs. If there's more than one of them, it's probably because I fitted the first one I made in that design on one of my own bikes. I may make more if they prove popular but the production numbers will still be very low so chances of ever meeting anyone else with the same cap would be very slim I'd imagine.
I can produce caps personalised to you but this may take a little time, for me to do the design work, get stock, book time on the cutter etc. Please just ask if you fancy a totally personalised cap though. I have also been meaning to experiment with other components so if there's something you're interested in...
