Pace RC36 Proclass 2

Old School Hero
Bought these a few years ago to go on project I had planned, but never did so I fitted them to my XC race bike as they were the light forks in the garage at time of building it, Just before I bought them they had visited Tim at Fork English, and have only be ridden 5-8 times, each time only for racing, but have now been replaced with a set of 2013 SIDs

They are in reasonable condition and ride equally well to my new SIDs (just 200g heavier ;) ) - I'll add some photos tonight if there any interest.

I'm looking for £100 collected, or I can post for £110 - but feel free to make an offer for swaps/partial swaps (looking for a set of drop bar levers, >630mm carbon bar, and general green anodised blingy bits! )

Definitely interested, mainly depending on steerer length, but would like to see a couple of photos as well please.

no problem - I'll do a good check over them maybe later tonight, but now more likely tomorrow night as something has come up at work and then get some photos done and post them up on this thread, I hadn't expected interest quite so quickly to be honest! - you can have first dibs!

Cheers, no hurry, take your time. I'm after a set a forks for my bike, and have no real preference on what make, model or technology is used in them, other than not wanting elastomers (retro, but crap). The carbon legs on a set of pace forks would nicely complement the carbon on the rear of my bike.

Would also be interested - have a 97 Merlin crying out for some 70mm travel Pace

Ok so finally got round to getting some photos together, but a bit more infor first, so they are 100mm travel, but can be changed internally to 80mm, the stanchion are smooth, apart from 1 area approx 60mm up from seals (so 60mm into travel) where the are about 4 small (about the size of a full stop .) black dots - and one very small ding - but its been like that since I bought then and a friend suggested putting some nail polish - but never felt the need as doesn't effect performance at all (or leak grease/oil or seem to change), there are also a few small patches where the original paint has been scratched (on the magnesium) so has been touched up (as can be seen in some of the close up photos - but not really noticeable normally. I have greased them every ride (I'm a bit obsessive like that  ) oh - they have a 1 1/8 189mm long steerer and have remote lockout!

I paid £140 for them early last year, so as I said earlier I would like £100 collected from OX7 (postcode) or LE11 (after 25/09/13) or can post for £110. Also if I can find them I'll include some spare circlips for them (meant to be replaced during each rebuild apparently - approx 5/6 left)

Now for the Photos....

Ding + Dots - https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B90t0nI ... sp=sharing - as you can see they are not very obvious (this was the most obvious of about 20 photos I took to try to show it :| )
