Dean Colonel titanium SS, frame only £450

suburbanreuben

Old School Grand Master
Sadly up for sale is this lovely little rocket from Dean.
I have committed myself to another SS purchase and I can't keep both! The missus would marmalise me.
The frame is 19" centre-top, with a 23" (585mm) actual top tube, 23 5/8" (600mm) effective. Standover is 31" (790mm), and has an eccentric bottom bracket tensioner and is built around 100mm travel forks.
The price is £600 posted to the UK, or a bit more to foreign parts.
Pics are in this thread, though more are available.

Re: Dean Colonel titanium SS, frame only

More pics, this time with 120mm forks, which give a headtube angle of 70deg and a BB height of 12.5", still with a lightning quick ride through the twistys!
Sexy welds!

Isn't it just; it really is exsquisitely made and rides just as good as it looks. I'm really wondering why I'm selling TBH. If I hadn't had a couple of bottles too many a week ago last Sunday and bid before bedtime, I wouldn't have a temporary cash flow problem... I think I shall have to have a rummage for "stuff" to sell instead!

There is no way to gear it other than Rohloff/Alfine

Re: Dean Colonel titanium SS, frame only

Welds on these later Deans are about as good as it gets in my most humble opinion...and the wishbone stay is lovely. Why hasn't anyone bought it yet?

Re: Dean Colonel titanium SS, frame only

Hi, would you be willing to sell the frame with the rigid fork? I would be interested.
Also, what would the price be if shipped to Denmark?
Looking forward to hearing from you, kind regards,
Malte
