1998 frame 18 inch. has a dent on the down tube but not that it affects anything. the bearing in the drive side horst link has a nut and bolt rather than the neater looking chainring type bolt that it should have and there is a small amount of play in the linkage where the top mount meets the frame. other than that its a decent enough frame, the shock works fine rebound and compression adjusters work and with some money spending on it at betd it will make a good bike £50
forks. marzocchi jr t. technically these are 97 as thats whats stamped in the moulding the paintwork is tatty but I serviced them last august with new seals a new foot bolt and new oil. they work fine after I unsiezed the adjusters and there is no wear to the stanchions. they dont leak and have disk and v mounts. £90. I will supply they remainder of the oil (probably enough for another change) and a new foot bolt. this is the bolt that goes in from underneath with the oil seal on it, I bought 2 as I broke one).
brakes. hope c2. the levers have seen better days but still work fine. I fitted new pads recently. the rear is a wierd spindle mount affair whic has a gouge taken out where the rotor bolts were hitting it but it seems to work fine, the front is a number 3? caliper. £40
wheels. mavic d521 on hope bulb hubs. bearing in mind the rear brake this has the spindle to suit but I am informed it can be changed to a regular one. the bearings are a tad stiff on the rear and fine on the front. the rims could do with a bit of a true but nothing untoward. the front has beed used with a v brake at some point but the rear has no wear on it. £80 or £110 for the wheels and the brakes.
deore rear mech mega 9 in black good condition. £10
deore front mech. top swing bottom pull 34.9 iirc £8
chainset and bb. deore hollowtech it did have a dmr chain device and still deeds the spacer so I left part of the device on it to add the correct spacing for the chainset. its a 113mm. rings are ok some wear but they dont slip. £20
r/h 9 speed shifter. xtr some cracks in the lower case but works just fine.£15
l/h shifter deore works fine ok condition £8
pedals are redline beartraps. I took them apart last week and regreased the bearings. gold cage silver body. £8
tyres are irc mudmad. loads of tread left and in good condition £15
cassette and chain reasonably new probably 100 miles on them if that. casette is a 9 speed deore level and the chain is a un53 iirc. £15.
I will add better pictures tonight. all the prices quoted are what i think reasonable but of course are open to negotiation. the prices are quoted without post but will be posted at cost with exception of the frame, forks and wheels as I would suggest an alternative method is used due to size and weight.
