For sale I have my Kona lava dome in deep metallic purple. The frame is a 2006 model, I brought it last year new from eBay. Someone had brought the frame, never built it and had then been sat in his loft for a number of years.

When I got the frame I built it up as a ridged single speed and ran it like this for 99% of its life, I then decided I would get a SS specific frame and build this into a hard tail geared bike which is exactly what I have done. But considering I now own a FS, SS and an XC bike this has to go due to lack of room and a shortage of money.

The bike has had a number of new parts put on that haven't seen any use what so ever so you really will be getting a decent quality bike. The spec is as follows:

FRAME - Kona lava dome 20" (top tube 23" head tube 5.5")

FORKS - Marzoccho 2000 bomber Z3 bam 120mm (new oil change and fresh re-spray)

WHEELS - Alloy double wall with 36 double butted stainless steal spokes.

TYRES- Hutchinson Toro hard skin

BRAKES - Avid elixir 3 white brakes with 160 rotors (New pads)

GEARS - Sram X7 9x3 shifters (Brand new) Sram X7 long cage rear mech

CHAINSET - Truvativ with Shimano sealed BB (Brand new)

BARS & STEM - Truvativ high rise xc with 70mm stem

OTHERS - Kona alloy seat post with charge spoon copy saddle, welgo spd's, foam grips.

The bike has also benefited from a brand new headset, full cable replacement, new Sram 12-34 cassette and chain.

I am based in Walsall just of junction 10 of the M6, but I can also post. I am looking for £300 collected or £325 posted, but make me an offer and I could always say yes...
