Answer Pro Taper riser from around the turn of the century. Pretty big rise, around 50mm, 685mm uncut width, weighs around 350g. A few marks and scrapes and a bit sun faded too; not as goldy lookin' as it used to be. But still a great bar, in good straight condition and for 25.4mm stem, ~ £13.50 by recorded mail :)

Have these bars been crashed at any point?

Not during the time I've owned them. They're straight and have no signs of being crashed.

Blinkin eck! Yes, I'd given up really and they're now on one of my bikes......... but they could come off again. Only slight problem is that since the original ad, postage costs for "long" items has gone silly. It might be prohibitive to post these days :-(

Hehe, just did a search for high rise Answer Pro Taper and your ad came up - thought I'd try my luck - wasn't expecting such a swift response from such an old ad!

Re: postage, if you still fancy selling let me know what you'd be prepared to accept to cover the new postage costs and I'll see if it's within my budget. Thanks.
