1999 Trek 8500

Dirt Disciple
Hi Guys, been a bit of a lurker on here for a while, and unfortunately 1 of my beauties has to go make way for a proper retro.

1999 Trek 8500

19.5" - I'm 5ft 10" and it fits me fine

IIRC these were about £1300 new

Alpha SL custom seamless drawn aluminium, handbuilt at Trek Wisconsin USA I believe. A very light racing hardtail. No cracks or dents, minor marks on frame, no chain suck/slap marks or cable rub. Drivetrain & brakes all working perfectly, mechanically sound & really good cosmetically. Had a service at LBS in Nov 12, receipt to prove this.

Manitou SX-R FORKS [work fine]
XT SHIFTERS [24spd]
XT BRAKE LEVERS
XT V BRAKES F&R
XT FRONT MECH
XT CHAINSET
XT HUBS & QUICK RELEASE SKEWERS
XTR REAR MECH

Has the original Bontrager rims and tyres! The factory saddle and handlebar grips are both unmarked. Shows the overall low mileage of the bike

Truvativ stylo 40 seatpost with titanium bolts - recently paid £50 for this.

Will throw in an Easton EA70 monkeybar & Specialized Lo Pro Mag pedals, and Shimano SPD pedals for free. The XT pedals & Prologo saddle aren't included in the sale

£295-00 collection only - West London Heathrow.

Cheers

Mandeep

No worries, but it's pretty straight forward to post, and you limit your potential market by not! But it's your call.
