Back up for sale:

Beautiful and very original frameset as described in my build thread here:

viewtopic.php?t=160537

Description by the original designer when he sold his:

road.cc/content/forum/8263-caribou-rtb-58cms-sale-26in-wheel-very-tough-road-bike

The original ad on here where I bought it from:

viewtopic.php?t=157703

Reluctant sale but a recent purchase means one must go and I just ride off-road these days.

£105 collected, £120 posted anyone?

Includes full guards, BB, headset and seatpost/clamp

Top tube is 58cm C-C

Hi, I would say it is like a 56cm/58cm c-c roadbike. I am 6 foot and it fits just fine. It has a quite long headtube and the steerer is uncut so you can get quite a variety of positions.

Handling is very much roady-style with quick and sharp steering. It would benefit from some drops I reckon to tuck in on fast, swooping corners.

Hi

Thanks for the info going to have to think about it as it might just be a tad too large for my stumpy frame :(

A few interested parties, but if they fall through you can register your interest. After Christmas is not a problem! :)

Lovely frame and strange the 26" wheel road bike didn't catch on!
I believe there was a article (Cycling+ ?) about Caribou bikes some 10-12 years ago that made me want one.
Interested in a trade for a larger mtb or road frame?
Pm sent.
