1998 Specialized Rockhopper FS. Traded

This has been sat all forlorn in the back of a garage for the last 13yrs, having only been used for the first year of its life...

I took it in a part of a deal I did for a watch on another forum, but its a tad too big for me ( I suspected it would be...)


19" measured C-C Ritchey Logic Nitanium steel frame in very good condition, has a few light chips and niks which show surface rust.















Original spec, all in good fully working order.

Indy Cs. Finish has bubbled slightly in places.
STX RC rearmech and 8spd Shifter.
Alivio front mech
Strongarm Expert C/set
Dia-compe 757 v brakes with DP-7 levers
Specialized Prolong Evolution Carbotech saddle
Specialized branded stem, bars, seatpost and clamp.

Ritchey Rock rims
OCR rear on Ritchey hub
SCX front on Specialized.

1.95 Traction control on front
1.95 Traction master on rear
Barely worn, not cracked.



£200 inc UK courier or would swap for a similar 17" bike, ..whole or frame, more modern is fine etc....could add a few quid/ or additonal parts if needed

Thanks Alex, its a shame it a little big.

Still looking for trades as well as a sale.

Needs some decent strong but reasonable lightweight disc wheels and a 2 x 10spd set-up.

Nice set of AM type disc wheels. Rims needn't be disc specific.

17" frame for clydesdale rider.HT or full suss considered.

Cash other parts can be added.

Traded for some wheels and a box of other bits and bobs.
