Possibly Rob!

However, I rode these on wheels with a week's worth of kit (two panniers, a rucksack and a saddle bag stuffed full) on the old railway line from Whitby to Scarborough and back, which is a pretty bumpy 20-25 mile each way ride, with no issues. My riding weight over that week including payload must have been well over 16 stone (I'm just under 13 stone + the luggage)!

XT hubs are bombproof and the rims are perfect for touring. I really don't know why these haven't gone yet, they've only just bedded in!
