Hello,

I have a DMR Trailstar frame and some parts up for sale. Sold

It’s a great fun frame, but as you can see from the photos it is not pretty. I believe it is a mk1 from 1998 with disk mounts and horizontal drop outs. Although it looks a bit unhappy I’ve been riding around on it for about a year since I bought it and all has been good. However, it did take a knock to the front bottom of the headtube when it got posted to me which I have tried to show in the photographs. My local bike shop were able to install a headset (1 1/8 threadless) without any problems and I will leave this in place. I will also leave in the square taper bottom bracket which it came with and the seat collar. I’m looking for £45 posted using parcel force, but I’m open to offers.

Also for sale are:

The 25.4mm dia, 400mm long Uno branded seat post which I had fitted on the Trailstar - £10 posted. Sold

A pair of imitation DMR chaintugs - £4 posted

Drop me a line with any questions.

Cheers,
Mike

I boxed this up nicely and put it under the bed out of the way over Christmas so now it is all ready to go straight in the post.
New year price drop to £45 including postage.

Hi,

The trailstars vital stats are as follows:

Seat tube - centre of bb to centre of top tube ~ 13.5 inches
Seat tube - centre of bb to top of seat tube ~ 16 inches
Top tube length - centre of seat tube to centre of head tube ~ 21 inches (measured along top tube)
Seatstay ~ 17 inches (to middlish of drop out)

All dims just measured with my trusty steel tape so might not be bob on, but pretty near. Let me know if you need any other info.

I've always said size doesn't matter ;)

That's why I had the long seat post. I would stick it up when I was going from A to B and tuck it down out of the way when I was just playing around jumping off curbs.
