Marin Rocky Ridge 2008

This is my brother's bike which he bought new at the end of 2008. It has been used, but definitely not abused. He has hardly used it over the last year or so due to starting a family, so the new slx chainset, bb, chain & cassette he installed have had less than 150 miles.
In all fairness, he didn't really use it that much before getting hitched etc...

The bike has had many upgrades, from the Hope wheelset & headset, through to a lovely thomson layback post with a titanium-railed charge spoon. The High Rollers are only 30 miles old max.

Size: Large . 19"

Frame 6061 Aluminum, Double Butted Edge XL Top Tube and Double Butted Hydro Edge Down Tube with Tri-Burner XXL Seat and Chain Stays, Disc Specific
Fork Fox 32 Vanilla R, 140mm
Headset Hope (Red)
Rear Hub Hope Sport, 32 Hole Disc
Front Hub Hope Sport, 32 Hole Disc
Spokes DT 15 Gauge Black Stainless
Rims Mavic 317 Disc
Tyres Maxxis High Roller Kevlar 2.35 F&R
Shift Levers Shimano Deore, 9 Speed
Front Derailleur Shimano Deore
Rear Derailleur Shimano XT
Cassette Shimano SLX, 11-34, 9 Speed
Chain Shimano SLX (HG73)
Crankset Shimano SLX 44/32/22
Bottom Bracket Shimano SLX
Seatpost Thomson Layback 30.9mm x 410mm
Saddle Charge Spoon Brown Titanium
Bar FSA Maximus, Double Butted Alloy, OS-31.8, 40mm Rise - White
Stem Gap OS Threadless with Alloy Face Plate, with 31.8mm Bar Clamp
Grips Sunline Half waffle
Brakes Front Hayes Stroker TRAIL Hydraulic Disc with V7 Rotors
Brakes Rear Hayes Stroker TRAIL Hydraulic Disc with V6 Rotors
Brake Levers Hayes Hydraulic Disc
Pedals Shimano M520

The bike is in extremely good working order. The photos do, however, flatter the bike somewhat as the white paintwork shows up a number of scratches & scuffs - nothing major though, just the usual sort of thing any bike picks up. There are NO DENTS anywhere on it. The stickers on the forks have a few air-bubbles under them that were there from new.

Comes with 1 spare pair of brake pads & if you would like, a pair of PD-M520's that are in very well-used condition, but still work fine. Also comes with original Marin in-line seatpost.

Yours for £550.
Pickup Harrogate (courier could be possibly arranged at extra cost - £15ish)

Good deal that. Trying not to spend, but if he gets desparate, let me know!
