Looking for the above in as best condition as possible, dual pull front mech to have a 28.6 clamp size.

Can anyone help at all please?

I'm thinking* that 28.6mm would have to using shim?

your thinking is correct alex, but they actually come with the shims to take them from err whats the big size 34.something to 31.8 to 28.6, just bought one from crc for £25

now all ordered, huzzah - also told them about the 'Special Offer of £89.99' with the front XT shifter - it has now had price put to the correct 25 quid, brilliant :)
