Hi Lads,

Im after a pair of the frame protectors that slip over the top of my

Marzocchi shivers uppers , the ones that stop my forks denting my frame

if I bale out and the bike comes crashing to a halt :lol:

I need ones with a 40mm internal dia, unless anyone can confirm that these ones from CRC

are that size? I dunno what size the stantions are on 888's?

i put a wanted up but didnt get far
(i would prefer lower profile ones if theyre about)

also
2008 and onwards have 38mm stanchions, 35mm before that

erm
have you seen woodman ones about?
theyre quite neat

(my stanchions are 35mm, not measured legs, can do if needed)

They will fit,

They look like a couple of pieces of foam pipe insulation that to slip onto

The forks and then you attatch the neoprene Lizard Skin cover

Secured by velcro on it.

Came on my shivers, but you can just cut the foam down to size
