Vicious Cycles Metal Guru frame - £150 - SOLD

    1999 model
    Size ‘large’ (19.5”)
Hand-built by Carl Schlemowitz in the US
Ritchey Logic Pro WCS steel tubing (made by Dedacciai)
    Wet fade paint job
    Original price when new: US$1,100
    Seat tube (centre-to-top): 19.5” (495.3mm)
    Top tube (horizontal): 23.1” (587.4mm)
    Blurb and full geometry: http://bit.ly/hHMjOO
    Reviews: http://bit.ly/h1pZRM
    Includes Shimano XT front derailleur

This is a hand-built frame made from high-end steel. Vicious Cycles are rare in the UK. I bought this one from the US in 2004, but it’s simply too small for me (I'm 6' 4"). The ride quality is so good that I still rode it for two years. However, it’s been in storage since 2006.

This frame is a bit tatty cosmetically, with numerous paint chips and areas of cable rub. However, it’s structurally completely sound, with every tube straight and true. These frames are built light but strong.

Please see my gallery for detailed photos: http://www.retrobike.co.uk/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=84150

I am based in South London. I am happy to ship at cost, and collection in person is very welcome.
