I recently bought these for my Cinder Cone, but may sell them and fit my XTR discs instead. These are excellent brakes, light-weight and powerful. I'm really impressed with them. However, with only one bike I only need one set of brakes, so the Elixir's or the XTR brakes have to go.

Full set of Avid Elixir 5 brakes in White. Complete with front and rear brakes, mounting brackets and pair of 160mm discs. Just bolt them on and you're away! These brakes are one ride old and are new!

# New for 2010 the Elixir 5 offer that same stopping power as the more expensive R and CR models
# Taper Bore Lever with Integrated Reservoir with adjustable reach
# Split lever clamp for easy fitting
# Two piece caliper
# Both caliper and lever body in white (graphite lever blade)
# Supplied ready bleed ready to fit
# Rear caliper IS fitting, front caliper fits IS or post mount
# G3 Rotor Design
# Supplied with 160mm front and rear rotors
# Complete front and rear kit, nothing extra required

I am will to take £100 for the brakes, which is an absolute bargain in my opinion. RRP is £239.

Registering interest on behalf of a friend with a woefully under-braked white Attitude

Yup, and these have done one ride and I've reduced them by over 25% accordingly. Thought that would be fair?
