The Holy Grail!

Reached just over £300 with nearly 5 days to go, nine different bidders.
I wouldn't be bidding that much for a damaged frame, how rare are they?

Would the drilling for a rear brake have been done afterwards, it doesn't look central.
 
Path racer, drilled for mudguard eyes, so I would have expected the frame to be built to take a rear brake. Ride it to the track (with racing wheels on a carrier fixed to forks!), remove brakes.....race! Fixed on the road for winter training, single speed for summer holidays!
It's really rather nice.
 
It's on my watch list out of curiosity. I recognise the garage door, I wonder where he gets his stuff from? The bacon slicers are rare too!!
