I think the date is pretty close, the owners of SB11xx frames tend to claim they were built in either 76 or 77.
On the Yahoo site the owner of SB1162 has it as a 1977 build.

I've seen this at a variety of bike jumbles over the years. It's been repainted so not even original paint. Might throw him a cheeky offer just for fun

Clearly the seller is not knowledgeable (nothing unusual there), team issue, it's only team livery, and appears from what I can see to have an eccentric mix of Campagnolo componentry, and if the frameset is 1976 the decals look later (certainly the fork decals are - they're 1980s).

To justify (imo) the price, the componentry would have to be at least Super Record throughout and have an interesting provenance (history).
