i remember getting one of those vitus frames in for repair - when i took a test ride on it
(as you simply must!) the front mech was changing up and down by itself!! first thoughts were "this bike is possessed" but the reality was that the bb shell had come unglued and was flexing with each pedal stroke!! minutes of fun were had by all..
